Nursery Happenings
for the month of March

1st Week November 3rd, 5th, 7th. Celebrating the Feast of All Saints. We will talk about the meaning of “All Saints Day”. This month we will be learning about our five senses. This week’s lesson will be on our senses of sight and touch. We will continue our fall art activities, as we get ready for Thanksgiving. Our stories will come from our art activities.

2nd Week November 10th, 12th, 14th. Scent Party. This week’s lesson is on our sense of smell. We will have a scent party and describe what each scents smells like. This week our art activities will be scarecrows, crows, and owls. The stories will come from our art activities.

3rd Week November 17th, 19th, 21st. Eight primary colors. We will be reviewing our primary colors from our crayon box. This week’s lesson is on our sense of hearing. We will be talking about the meaning of “Thanksgiving”. This week’s art activities will be turkeys and corn on the cob. The stories will come from our Thanksgiving theme.

4th Week November 24th, 26th (No school the 28th). Shapes. We will be reviewing our shapes. This week’s lesson is on our sense of taste. We will have a tasting party. We will be talking about what we are thankful for. This week we will continue with our thanksgiving stories and art activities.
