Tentative Nursery Happenings
for the month of March
Week 1 March 1 - 5th – We will be learning to recognize and print the shape of the letter “Tt” and it’s sound, learning about dinosaurs, recognizing the shape of the “octagon” and learning about the concept of “longer length”.
Week 2 March 8 - 12th – We will be learning to recognize and print the shape of the letter “Uu” and it’s sound, learning about dinosaurs, learning the number “9” and learning about the concept of “shorter length”. **Picture Day is Wed. March 10th.
Week 3 March 15 - 19 – We will be learning to recognize and print the shape of the letter “Vv” and it’s sound, discussing St. Patrick and the country of Ireland, discussing stories and miracles of Jesus and learning the concept of “heavier weight”.
Week 4 We will be learning to recognize and print the shape of the letter “Ww” and it’s sound, discussing stories and miracles of Jesus, learning the number “10”, discussing Nursery Rhymes and enjoying a visit with Mother Goose, learning about the concept of “lighter weight”, learning about the shape of the “oval” and learning about wind.
