4 Year Olds Monday thru Friday
Tentative Nursery Happenings
for the month of June
Week 1 June 1st – June 4: We will be learning to recognize the sounds of long “A, E, and I, learning the number “12”, discussing number order and learning about nocturnal animals.
Week 2 June 7 – June 11: We will be learning to recognize the sound of long “O and U”, reviewing all long vowel sounds, learning about the concept of “half” and discussing the ocean.
Week 3 June 14 – June 18: We will be reviewing letter and letter sound recognition, number and number quantity recognition, learning about estimates, discussing summer activities, destinations and summer safety.
Week 4 May 24 - May 28: We will be introducing the sounds of “sh”, “ch” and “th”, discussing health, learning about graphs and reviewing math concepts
Parent’s Visiting Day is Thursday, June 17th. Even if your child does not usually come on this day, we are asking that they and you be present for this special day. Last day of school is Friday, June 18th.
Miss Lesa and I are very proud of all the children. This year was one of growth and great achievements. It was wonderful to observe their social, emotional and intellectual development. We thank you for sharing your children with us. They are a blessing to us all!
We hope everyone has a restful and safe summer.
