April News!
Tentative Happenings in our Class
We continue to learn about Easter through story and song in such a way that our children come to know about the life of Jesus.
I am ready for Spring weather! We will learn about this new month and how the weather will be changing. We will talk about the earth and how it changes in Springtime. At the end of the month, we will watch the stages of a butterfly's life. Our art will reflect this month of growth and wonder.
As always, we continue to work on readiness skills through art and by using a wide variety of writing/drawing tools. There is a lesson in everything we do! We will cover the letters U, V, and W. Remember to read stories, ask questions, play games, and look at signs in the environment! That is called environmental print!
We will begin to talk about seeds and planting to observe how things grow! Later this month, our sensory table will be filled with soil! Vacation time will come during this month! Hopefully, the weather will cooperate, and we will all get much needed fresh air and exercise!

There is NO SCHOOL on Friday, April 18 (Good Friday)
Easter Sunday is on April 20, then Spring vacation follows on April 21-25. School resumes on Monday, April 28.
