Tentative Happenings in our Class
Week of March 31 – April 4
April Showers bring Mayflowers! This week we will be learning about all different types of weather. The children will have fun exploring our weather center and learning about various storms. They will also have a chance to forecast the weather live for the "Carmelite News". Our letter this week is the letter "T". In addition, we will be talking about all the animals that love the wet and rainy weather as we learn about Pond Life.
Week of April 7 - 11
This week we will continue to prepare for Easter as we Pray more, Give more, and Love more. We will be learning about caterpillars and butterflies which are a beautiful symbol of New Life. Our letter for this week is the letter "U".
Week of April 14 - 16
This week we will learn about Holy Week. On Wednesday, we will join together with the other classes for a special celebration. We will enjoy a special snack of eggs, matzos, bread, grapes, and jelly beans as we learn about The Last Supper. Sr. Kathy will join us for the Easter story and more joyous songs. We will not be introducing a new letter this week. We wish you all a Beautiful and Blessed Easter.

Week of April 28 – May 2
This week we will be celebrating Earth Day, which was on April 22. We will be talking about ways we can all help take care of our Earth… Reduce – Reuse – Recycle! Also, we will be planting seeds and learning about how flowers grow. Our letter for this week is the letter "V".
